Sales Engineer - Enterprise

Company and Product Overview

deCarta's unique web and embedded software platform enables developers to build mapping and navigation applications for the consumer electronics, personal navigation, fleet management, automotive, and mobile handset markets. In addition to traditional personal navigation capabilities found in products like Garmin and TomTom, deCarta opens up application development to everyone by providing a complete embedded navigation toolkit and application source code, along with web and mobile APIs. Traditional stand-alone personal navigation devices are nice, but deCarta thinks it just starts there - deCarta recently launched its real-time two-way connected navigation product and services in North America. This new platform enables the next generation of navigation devices through integration of real-time web services like free-form POI lookup and local search, detailed traffic and detour routing, up to date gas prices, interface with web mapping sites, and much more.

deCarta is a growing, venture backed firm with recurring revenue from multiple market segments. deCarta's technology launched the Internet mapping revolution with Google Maps and Yahoo Maps, and already powers the leading providers of mobile navigation services like VZ Navigator and ATT Navigator.
