DDS Fleet routing engine has powered leading internet, mobile, telematics and enterprise solutions with billions of routes calculated. With DDS Fleet’s speed and scalability, you never need to worry about the ability to support thousand of vehicles. DDS Fleet Routing is flexible and can calculate routes using additional constraints such as traffic flow; polygonal exclusion zones or other use defined data.

[+] Traffic - DDS Fleet considers traffic flow information when calculating routes.
DDS Fleet can consider real time, predictive and historic traffic. When traversing a long route, DDS Fleet knows which traffic information to apply to correct route segment. This provides users with highly accurate ETA’s and will allow you to plan more efficiently in real time or when pre-planning in advance.
[+] Geocoding - Highly accurate forward geocoding for efficient dispatching and map interaction
DDS has a multi-step geocoder which eases the task of batch or interactive geocoding. The geocoder is localized for North America and many Western European countries and can handle single line input which results in improved efficiency. For additional geographic areas, DDS supports parsed address input allowing you to implement DDS worldwide.
[+] Reverse Geocoding - High performance reverse geocoding for efficient processing of GPS positions.
DDS has proven itself in high volume and high load implementations and can reverse geocode hundreds of thousands of positions returning as much or as little information as you specify. Use it to return address information; Posted Speed Limits; Road Classification or any other data attributes.
[+] Stepwise Routing - In real time, select the best technician for a job, or best job for a technician considering road network; time windows and traffic conditions resulting in improved customer service
This new feature allows dispatchers to improve their efficiency in managing job assignments in real time. Given a job assignment’s time and location, DDS can determine which technician (from multiple techs) is available at that time and is closest to the job site. Conversely, given multiple job assignments and a newly available technician, which available job should he take? Unlike most solutions, DDS Fleet will consider the road network and traffic conditions when calculating the answer. Given DDS’ speed, this dispatching solution can be run in real time instead of as a batch process the night before.

DDS will also check geofences against vehicle locations to facilitate activity and exceptions reports. Utilizing your existing database and vehicle GPS locations, you can perform the following types of queries:
- When did a technician arrive at a job location?

In-vehicle navigation allows fleet drivers to drive routes efficiently and without the chances of getting lost or miscommunications between dispatch and driver. deCarta Fleet Nav is navigation software for use on embedded devices, providing turn-by-turn navigation with two-way messaging and job assignment that streamlines your communication and optimizes workflow. In addition, it has advance fleet functionality which improves.

Using Posted Speed Limit attributes, Fleet Nav can monitor if drivers exceed posted speed limits. Dispatchers can set the threshold remotely on the device. Warnings are given to the driver when an infraction occurs. Dispatchers are notified of the violation and the location of the occurrence.

Using our POI uploader, users can upload custom POIs to Fleet Nav either wired or wirelessly. Upload customer locations and other frequently visited locations in a bulk upload. They can be used as destinations for route guidance and map display improving driver efficiency.
