Weigel joins deCarta's management team with 19 years of geospatial and LBS industry experience, most recently serving as director of business development for Autodesk. deCarta's software platform gives LBS providers and application developers the ability to quickly build applications which integrate a wide variety of map and data sources to provide complex mapping, routing, and spatial search functions. Weigel will focus on further extending the company's non–branded, customizable software platform, and personal navigation software solutions into the Internet, mobile, and personal navigation markets. His responsibilities will also include the development of relationships with other significant technology companies in these industries and execution of company growth initiatives.
