In benchmark testing, DDS has demonstrated the following performance on average:

• 284 Reverse geocodes a second (address range returned)
• 81 address look-ups/second
• 53.3 One kilometer proximity queries/second
• 31.9 GIF images/second
• 15.3 Fifty-mile routes/second (learn more about how DDS performs routes)

Testing was conducted on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2, 2.39 GHz Dual-Core Opteron processor, with 4GB RAM using commercially available map data for North America.

Note: Equivalent performance can be achieved from other platforms that have similar MIPS values.
